Dr. Abdul Ahad Jhumka

Dr. Abdul Ahad Jhumka is a distinguished Principal Consultant and Chartered Electrical Engineer (EngC, UK). He holds an MPhil and PhD in Energy Modelling from the University of Reading (UK), alongside a Master of Science in Electrical Power Systems from the University of Bath.

As a highly sought-after industry expert, Dr. Jhumka brings extensive international experience in the Electrical, Power, and Renewable Energy sectors. His hands-on technical achievements include executing over 50MW of complex grid integration and protection studies for connecting Solar PV into the Mauritius Power Grid using industry-standard software like DIgSILENT PowerFactory.

Beyond his consulting excellence, Dr. Jhumka is a recognized technical trainer for the Electrical Learning Portal (ELP). He combines his deep academic insights with practical, large-scale project management experience to deliver training that is rigorous, actionable, and aligned with global industry standards.
