1 – Introduction
In this lesson we will cover the following topics: Meaning of the title Electrical, Designing & Drafting, Introduction of MEP, Power Flow Analysis, and Introduction of steps involved in the calculation of electrical designing. After the completion of this course, you will be able to understand the basic meaning of the title of this course, general working departments of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), an overview of the Power flow analysis and steps taken in the calculation of electrical designing.

2. The Basics of Electrical Design
In this lesson, we will cover the following topics: electrical fundamental theories, SI unit system, basic terminologies, load types, different voltage levels and operating stages of electricity in power system. After the completion of this course, you will be having a basic knowledge of electrical engineering along with this you will also learn important formulae for further calculations with some important points.

3. The Basic Formulae
In this lesson, we will cover the following topics: Some important rules for the calculation of line, full load current, active power, apparent power & reactive power and assignment. After the completion of this course, you will be able to calculate the current, powers for 3-ф and 1-ф systems.

4. Codes, Standards and Lux Levels
In this lesson, we will cover the following topics: different codes, standards and required value of Lux for a specific area. In this course, you will learn different-different codes & standards following throughout the world and in India, and after the codes and standards you will see the Lumens and Lux for lighting fixtures.

5. Illumination Design
In this lesson, we will cover the following topics: types of the lighting system, classification of lights: interior, exterior lights, Kelvin color temperature and CRI. At the end of this course, you will have the good command on a selection of an appropriate lighting fixture according to the installation area.

6. The Basics of Air Conditioner
In this lesson, we will cover the following topics: Window A/C and Split A/C. In this chapter, you are going to learn the basic introduction of the air conditioner. Basically, the air conditioner is not the scope of Electrical Designing but as an electrical designer, we have to provide a connection, that’s why we should have some knowledge of air conditioning system (at least for window & Split A/C).
