The session begins with an overview of emerging trends in power systems, followed by detailed insights into key analytical studies such as Load Flow, Short Circuit, and Transient Stability.
Participants will gain clarity on the purpose and methodology of Grid Connection Studies, along with the essential requirements to conduct them effectively. The workshop will also introduce Harmonic Analysis and its relevance in today’s complex grid environments.
A major highlight of the workshop is the hands-on introduction to PSSE (Power System Simulator for Engineering), covering its basic operations, real-world applications, and the power of automation using Python scripting. The session will also guide attendees through developing custom User Defined Models using Fortran, including compiling DLL files and implementing simple model simulations.
This workshop is ideal for electrical engineers, system planners, consultants, and graduate students aiming to enhance their technical capabilities in power system studies and PSSE-based simulations.

His vast portfolio includes grid connection studies for major utilities and regulatory bodies such as CEA (India), ERCOT (USA), ISO-NE (USA), and PJM (USA), utilizing PSSE & PSCAD to ensure compliance with grid codes and operational stability. Currently, he is engaged in Grid Connection studies for AEMO (Australia), focusing on integrating renewable energy sources and enhancing grid resilience.
